Best Christmas Gift

OK, I am seriously doing the "Worst Christmas Gift" contest ( see 2 posts down).



But, I HAD to share the best gift I have ever gotten ( OK, so Jesus and my family are the most perfect gifts, but after that) .
Today, my two close friends, Paige and Leann, surprised me with this : ( click on it to see the details on a larger image)
It is a vintage sampler ( about a 20x24) found at a local antique store...
First, I love vintage items, but then, it is what it says. It is the " Now I lay me down to sleep..." prayer.
I can't believe they found this. I am not sure of the age, as it is not marked. I am thinking maybe the 40's.
If you know me at all, you know my passion for the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization. You know that my children say this prayer every night.( always have, long before I knew anything about NILMDTS).
You will also see it has a little butterfly on it, which is what I put on things ( like my Christmas Cards) to remember my son, Jackson Walker.
This is the best, best gift ever. I have already hung it right over my desk, and it is perfect.

As I was writing this, I had to stop to take a call from a mom who is in labor, her son will not live until Christmas...please say a prayer for this family, and it just gave this gift even more meaning......
