I wasn't going to post about Gracie's dental surgery, but I have had such sweet messages that I thought I would update everyone. She had her surgery last week, and is doing great. Because she is only three, the dentist wanted to do her work at the hospital. She had never been under anesthesia before, so we were very nervous about the proceedure. We got there about 7 am, and were there until about 4 pm! She was very sleepy and extremely grumpy, so she had to be watched for about 3-4 hours afterwards. The worst part was when we got there, they had a crib in her room, and she leaned on the side to watch tv, it wasn't latched well, and she fell! Luckily, her daddy had put a chair by the crib to sit in, and it broke the fall. She ended up with a very sore, scratched up arm, but didn't bust open her sweet head!The dental work went well, and after about 24 hours, she felt much better.
Here is a photo from that day and one from today! As you can see, she is back to normal.

Glad to know Gracie is doing well after the dental surgery. I wasn't aware that she was having any but glad to know that it now behind you all.

Glad to see Gracie is back to normal activities. The picture of her upside down is the best picture ever! It shows that kids can bounce back faster than adults after surgery. She is a gift from God. Love you all, Nikki
